“I joined the Board as a parent as a way to help the school.  Since then I have learned a lot about what it takes to keep a Non-Profit running and the tough decisions that need to be made.  No one expected to be navigating St. Mary’s through a pandemic but Traci and the board did a fantastic job of offering multiple perspectives to each subject of discussion.  I feel that I have grown professionally in a short amount of time working with this dedicated board family.”

SMNS Board Roles: Development Committee Chair, Facilities Committee member

Personal: Business Initiatives Consultant, Wells Fargo Bank

Hobbies: going on adventures, cooking, golf

Being new to Philadelphia (and the East Coast) when my daughter started at SMNS, I started helping with the facilities committee as a way to be more involved in the community (and earn co-op hours) and quickly saw the incredible impact that this school has on the children that come through the doors. I joined the board the following year to continue that involvement and gained a whole new understanding of the value that a well run nonprofit center like SMNS can bring to a larger community no matter the state of the world outside its walls. SMNS is able to provide such a rich, diverse, meaningful early childhood education thanks to all the support that it receives from its various stakeholders (parents, friends, teachers, local businesses, etc).”
