PHLpreK at SMNS

PHLpreK is currently enrolling at SMNS!

SMNS spots are only open to currently enrolled families whose children will turn three by September 1, 2021. Currently enrolled children who are already 3 or older are not eligible for one of our PHLpreK spots. Our spots are also open to families not currently enrolled at SMNS, and the spots are listed on the PHLpreK website.

The spots are offered on a first come first serve basis. By submitting an application, you will be on the list for a spot. Enrollment will be processed in the order in which we receive applications. The application can be found HERE!

This Pre-K program is open to all three- and four-year-old children who live in the City of Philadelphia. The focus is to encourage enrollment among children in neighborhoods with high poverty, a large presence of young children at risk for poor health and educational outcomes, and a shortage of quality early learning opportunities. Enrollment is also encouraged for children from families experiencing homelessness, English Language Learners and children with special needs. The City of Philadelphia has a vision to provide access to quality programming to 5,500 children by 2023 and to develop an integrated system of universally accessible early learning services for Philadelphia families.

Once we confirm receipt of your application, the enrollment and enrollment review process will begin. At this point, families will need to email or drop off the following materials to phlprek@stmarysnursery.org  . Enrollment is not secured until all documentation has been reviewed.
